Experimental processing
Andres Guaca is a third-generation coffee producer in the Acevedo region of Huila, Colombia. For the past five years, he has focused on producing coffee for the specialty market by enhancing post-harvest practices through controlled experimental fermentation methods. He hopes these developments will keep on delivering premiums for his coffees.
Over the past five years, he has introduced more exotic varietals like Caturra, Pink Bourbon, Pacamara, and Geisha. Andres' eldest son has already developed a passion for coffee production, with the aim of becoming an agronomist to carry on the farm's legacy and growth.
